BedJet Not HeatingUpdated 2 months ago

If your BedJet isn’t producing heat or won’t reach the temperature you’ve set, try the steps below. Most heating issues are fixed with a quick reset and a power-source check.

Warranty note: If you’re within our two-year comprehensive warranty, we’ll replace the BedJet at no cost if needed. If you’re out of warranty, we can offer repair or replacement options.

Quick basics

  • Make sure you’re in Heat mode (not Cool/DRY/EXT HT).

  • Set the temperature above your room’s ambient temperature.

  • Set a moderate fan speed (very low airflow can feel less warm).

Step 1: Reset the thermal protection switch

The BedJet’s safety system can temporarily disable the heater (for example, after repeated Turbo Heat). Reset it like this:

  1. Power off the BedJet.

  2. Unplug from the wall outlet.

  3. Wait 1 minute.

  4. Plug back in and turn it on.

  5. Run in Cool mode for at least 2 minutes.

  6. Switch to Heat mode and test again.

Step 2: Check the power source

  • Plug the BedJet directly into a wall outlet. Some power strips, surge protectors, smart plugs, or extension cords can limit power and reduce heating performance.

    • The BedJet draws up to 1,100 watts in Heat mode (at the highest temperature) and up to 1,500 watts in Turbo Heat.

  • If possible, try a different wall outlet (preferably on a different circuit).

Step 3: Very cold rooms

In unusually cold bedrooms (in the 50s °F / ~10–15 °C), the heater may struggle to reach the very highest setpoints. This is normal—choose a realistic target or allow extra warm-up time.

Turbo Heat behavior (normal)

Turbo Heat is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes in any 30-minute period. If you try to exceed this limit, the BedJet will automatically switch back to standard Heat at 104 °F (40 °C). If you notice this happening, it’s expected behavior by design.
