Biorhythm won’t startUpdated 2 months ago

If your Biorhythm schedule won’t start from the BedJet Smart Remote App, try the quick fixes below. This guide also covers the “Fixed time steps are too long given current clock time” message.

Quick reset (most issues)

  • Unplug the BedJet from the wall outlet.

  • Uninstall the BedJet Smart Remote App from your phone.

  • Restart your phone.

  • Reinstall the BedJet Smart Remote App.

  • Plug in and power on the BedJet.

  • Pair the app to your BedJet and try creating/running the Biorhythm again.
     Note: Any Biorhythm schedules you already saved remain available after reinstalling the app.

Common error: “Fixed time steps are too long given current clock time”

Each Biorhythm step can be no longer than 12 hours. You’ll see this error when the first step ends more than 12 hours from now (for example, testing a bedtime schedule in the morning).

How to fix

  • Easiest: start the schedule at bedtime.

  • Or adjust the first step now so it ends within 12 hours of the current time.

    • Shorten the duration, or

    • Move the start time closer to now.
       Example: At 10:00 AM, a first step ending at 11:00 PM is 13 hours away and will error. Change the end to 10:00 PM or begin the step later.

Tip: Make sure the BedJet’s internal clock is correct (app menu → Clock Set). Biorhythm uses the BedJet’s clock.

No error message, but the schedule still won’t start

  • Test with a physical remote (if you have one).

    • If it fails on both app and remote, contact Customer Care.

    • If it works on the remote, continue below.

  • Confirm your app and phone OS are up to date (see “Current App Versions”).

  • Repeat the quick reset steps above.

  • Stay close to the BedJet during start (Bluetooth range), and keep the app open until you hear the start beep.

Warranty note: If you’re within our two-year comprehensive warranty, we’ll replace the BedJet at no cost if needed. If you’re out of warranty, we can offer repair or replacement options.
