Cool ModeUpdated 2 months ago

Cooling Mode moves fresh room air through your bedding to carry away trapped body heat and moisture. It’s not an air conditioner and can’t deliver air colder than the room itself. In very warm rooms (around 80 °F / ≈26.7 °C or higher), the cooling impact will be limited—lower the room temperature first (AC, fan + ventilation, or dehumidifier) for best results. If your feet feel too cold or airflow feels drafty, a few quick tweaks usually fix it fast.

Quick fixes for cold feet

  • Increase temperature slightly

    • Nudge the setpoint up 2–4°F (about 1–2°C) for a gentler cooling feel.

  • Reposition the nozzle

    • Move the Air Nozzle higher toward your calves/torso so less air concentrates at your feet.

  • Use “sandwich” layering

    • Route the nozzle above your top sheet, then place a second top sheet or a light comforter over it to diffuse air above your body instead of directly into the sleeping layer.

Bedding for best cooling performance

  • Use a tighter-weave top layer

    • A quality top sheet or comforter with roughly 250+ thread count helps trap and circulate air across the bed. Very loose-knit or highly breathable sheets let air escape too quickly.

  • Quick self-check

    • At 100% fan, bedding should lift slightly and you should feel air exiting near your torso. If not, your top layer may be too porous.

  • Sheet types to avoid

    • Performance “cooling” sheets, very breathable loose-knit fabrics, jersey knit sheets, or using only a blanket with no top sheet.

Make airflow feel gentler

  • Redirect above the top sheet instead of into your sleeping layer.

  • Create a “sandwich” layer with a second sheet or light blanket on top of the nozzle path.

  • Reduce fan speed one notch if airflow feels drafty.

Best result: add a Cloud Sheet

The Cloud Sheet is designed to spread airflow smoothly from your feet toward your torso, reducing cold-feet hotspots and the sensation of direct air. Place a blanket or duvet on top for the most even, all-night comfort. Multiple inlets let you connect at the foot or sides; close any unused inlets for best performance.

Notes for BedJet 3 Mini

Use Mini with a Twin XL Cloud Sheet, or on one side of a Queen/King with a Dual Zone Cloud Sheet. Mini isn’t designed to cool an entire Queen or King by itself.
