Dry Mode & Extended Heat (EXT HT) ModesUpdated 2 months ago

Two set-and-forget modes designed for long, comfortable nights—without overdoingit easily accessible as pre-set options on both the BedJet Smart Remote and Smart Remote app.

Extended Heat (EXT HT): gentle, all-night warmth

  • What it is: A moderate warming mode designed for continuous use.

  • Temperature range: 72–92 °F (≈22–33 °C).

  • Run time: Up to 12 hours (default is 12 hours).

  • When to use: If you want steady, cozy warmth all night with minimal tweaking.

  • Tip: Need hotter settings or faster warm-up? Use standard Heat (or Turbo Heat for pre-heat), then settle into EXT HT.

Quick start (EXT HT)

  1. Select EXT HT.

  2. Choose a comfortable temperature between 72–92 °F (≈22–33 °C).

  3. Leave the default 12-hour timer, or adjust if you prefer.

Dry Mode: stay comfortably dry without feeling hot

  • What it is: A neutral, slightly-warm airflow that helps manage moisture (great for night sweats) without running “hot” or “cool.”

  • Temperature window: From a minimum of ambient +5 °F (≈+3 °C) up to 87 °F (≈30.6 °C).

    • Example: If your room is 65 °F (18.3 °C), the lowest selectable Dry setpoint is 70 °F (21.1 °C).

  • How it behaves: The temperature you set acts as a minimum. If the bedroom cools overnight, BedJet adds just enough warmth to keep airflow at or above your setpoint. If the room is warmer, airflow remains in the neutral/comfortable range—aimed at keeping the bed dry rather than toasty.

Quick start (Dry)

  1. Select Dry Mode.

  2. Set a minimum temperature (ambient +5 °F / ≈+3 °C or higher, up to 87 °F / ≈30.6 °C).

  3. Let it run—this mode is ideal for moisture control and steady comfort.

Choosing between them

  • Want moderate warmth all night with one click? Use EXT HT

  • Managing night sweats or humidity under the covers? Use Dry Mode for neutral, drying airflow.

Pro tips

  • For the most even feel, pair with a Cloud Sheet and place a duvet/blanket on top (a little weight improves distribution).

  • If airflow feels concentrated at your feet, move the nozzle slightly toward your torso or use a side inlet on the Cloud Sheet.

  • In very cold rooms, pre-heat with Turbo Heat for 3–10 minutes, then switch to EXT HT or Dry.
