Heat & Turbo ModesUpdated 2 months ago

Heat Mode warms your bedding by moving gently heated air under the covers; great for rapid pre-heat, quick warm bursts, or maintaining a low, cozy temperature through the night without changing how your mattress feels.

Quick wins for a perfect warm-up

  • Pre-heat with Turbo Heat (3–10 minutes) before you get in for “just-out-of-the-dryer” warmth.

  • After getting in, switch to regular Heat at a lower temperature and comfortable fan speed.

  • If warmth feels concentrated at your feet, nudge the nozzle toward your torso or use a Cloud Sheet for smoother, whole-body heat.

Everyday comfort tips

  • Post-shower comfort

    • Hop into bed after showering and run a short Turbo burst—many users love the quick, full-body drying warmth.

  • Find your sweet spot

    • Start at a lower temperature and raise in small steps. High settings can feel too warm over time; moderate heat with a gentle fan often sleeps best.

  • Prevent dry skin

    • Like any warm forced air, continuous high heat can feel drying. Use moisturizer as needed, or use BedJet mainly for pre-heat and short warm bursts overnight. Sleep science generally favors cooler sleep temperatures for deeper rest.

Heat ranges, Turbo basics, and auto shut-off

  • Regular Heat setpoint: selectable in 1° steps from 72–104 °F (22–40 °C).

    • The selected heat must be at or above the ambient room temperature.

  • Turbo Heat: delivers up to about 109 °F (≈43 °C) airflow for rapid pre-heat.

    • Turbo is software-limited to a maximum of 10 minutes per 30-minute period.

  • Auto shut-off: maximum run times depend on temperature and fan speed (from 1 minute up to 12 hours).

Why BedJet heat smells clean

BedJet uses a patented ceramic stone heating element engineered to warm the airflow while keeping internal element surface temperatures below the flashpoint of airborne dust and lint—preventing the “electric heater” odor common to coil-and-fan space heaters. You get fast, toasty warmth (up to 15× faster bed warming than electric blankets) and a cleaner-smelling experience.

Pro tips for the smoothest heat

  • Add a Cloud Sheet on top of your fitted sheet and place a blanket/duvet over it; a little weight improves diffusion and reduces “hot spots.”

  • Keep the nozzle and intake clear of bunching bedding; avoid kinks in the hose.

  • For all-night comfort without overheating, build a gentle multi-step Biorhythm schedule instead of holding one high setting.

Notes for BedJet 3 Mini

Use Mini with a Twin XL Cloud Sheet, or on one side of a Queen/King with a Dual Zone Cloud Sheet. Mini isn’t designed to heat an entire Queen or King by itself.
