Travel with BedJetUpdated 2 months ago

Yes—you can travel with your BedJet. Just make sure the voltage and plug match the country you’re visiting so the unit runs safely and at full performance.

Quick Checklist

  • Voltage: Know your destination’s mains voltage (120V or 220–240V).

  • Transformer: If the voltage doesn’t match your BedJet, use a properly rated transformer up to 1500 watts (covers all Heat/Turbo settings).

  • Plug: If the voltage matches but the outlet shape differs, use a simple plug adapter (adapter ≠ transformer).

If You Have a 120V BedJet (North America) and Travel to a 220–240V Country

Use a step-down transformer rated up to 1500 W to cover all modes including Heat/Turbo. A plug adapter alone is not sufficient and may damage the unit.

If You Have a 220–240V BedJet and Travel to a 120V Country

Use a step-up transformer rated up to 1500 W to cover all modes including Heat/Turbo.

If Voltage Matches but the Plug Is Different

Use a plug adapter only. No transformer is needed when the voltage already matches your BedJet.

BedJet 3 Mini – The Perfect Travel Companion

Our smallest, most compact model is easy to pack (fits in a standard carry-on with all parts included) and ideal for travel. Best suited for Twin XL or one side of a Queen/King bed, it sets up quickly in hotel rooms—well known for their uncomfortable temperature control. If traveling internationally, be sure to review our notes on proper voltage requirements.

Reminder: Compact “travel converters” often aren’t rated for high-watt heat loads. Always choose a transformer with a 1500 W rating to ensure safe, reliable operation.
