Weak AirflowUpdated 2 months ago
If your BedJet isn’t delivering the airflow you’re used to—Single or Dual Zone—these quick checks usually restore full performance.
1) Clear any blockages
Air filter: Remove and clean the filter. Even light dust can noticeably reduce airflow.
See our video guide: Cleaning the BedJet 3 Air Filter.Air hose: Inspect for obstructions (e.g., sock, blanket corner) and ensure there are no sharp kinks.
Nozzle & bedding: Make sure sheets/blankets aren’t bunching at the nozzle and restricting the outlet.
Cloud Sheet users: Verify unused inlets are closed so air isn’t escaping elsewhere.
Intake/exhaust clearance: Ensure the BedJet’s vents aren’t pressed into upholstery, carpet, or bed skirts.
2) Verify power mode
Remote-equipped units:
Menu → BedJet Setup → Low Power → set to “Normal Power.”App-only owners (BedJet 3):
Press the Low Power button on the side of the base. Compare airflow before/after:If airflow increases, you’ve returned to Normal Power.
If airflow decreases, you just enabled Low Power—press again to return to Normal.
Dual-Zone matching note (two full-size BedJet 3 units only):
Run both units in Low Power so they match; if one is Normal and the other Low, the Low-Power side will feel weaker. (Does not apply to BedJet 3 Mini Dual Zone systems.)
3) Confirm proper power supply
Plug the BedJet directly into a wall outlet (avoid low-capacity power strips/extension cords).
If possible, try a different outlet/room to rule out a supply issue.
4) Quick airflow test
Set mode to Cool and fan to 100% for 60–90 seconds. You should feel strong, steady flow at the nozzle. If not, re-check for filter/hosing/bedding restrictions.
