The BedJet pairs to the BedJet Smart Remote App over Bluetooth. If you can’t connect, follow these steps to get paired quickly.

1) Quick checks (before you start)

  • Turn on Bluetooth and Location Services on your phone/tablet.

    • Note: iOS and Android treat Bluetooth scanning as “location” access. BedJet does not track or store your location.

  • Power on the BedJet base unit.

  • Open the BedJet Smart Remote App and allow all requested permissions.

  • Important for iPhone/iPad: pair inside the BedJet app only (not in iOS Settings → Bluetooth).

2) If the app can’t find your BedJet

Do a clean reset and try again:

  • Unplug the BedJet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

  • Uninstall the BedJet Smart Remote App.

  • Restart your phone.

  • Reinstall the BedJet Smart Remote App.

  • Open the app and start pairing (do not use your device’s Bluetooth menu).

Extra Bluetooth tips:

  • Stay close: keep your phone within ~10 ft (3 m) of the BedJet during pairing.

  • Reduce interference: temporarily turn off/away other nearby Bluetooth devices.

  • One device at a time: if the BedJet is paired to another phone/tablet, close the app on that device before pairing a new one.

  • Update everything: install the latest app version and any available OS updates on your phone.

Optional isolation step:

  • Try pairing from a second phone or tablet. If the second device pairs, the issue is likely on the original phone (permissions, OS Bluetooth cache, etc.).

3) Platform-specific pointers

  • iOS: ensure the app’s “Bluetooth” and “Location” permissions are both allowed (Settings → BedJet → enable Bluetooth and Location “While Using the App”).

  • Android: ensure “Nearby devices” and Location are allowed for the BedJet app (long-press the app → App info → Permissions).
