Pair Your PowerLayer to the BedJet 3 Smart RemoteUpdated 2 months ago

If you own both a BedJet 3 and a PowerLayer, your BedJet 3 LCD Smart Remote can control both—no extra remotes needed. Follow these steps to pair and (if prompted) update your remote.

Before you start

• Unplug your BedJet 3 unit(s).
  

• Split King users: Make sure only one PowerLayer frame is plugged in during pairing/updates.

Pairing Steps:

1) Start pairing on the BedJet 3 remote

On the LCD Remote, go to MENU → DEVICE PAIRING → ADD DEVICE.

2) Put the PowerLayer into pairing mode (choose one method)

A) If you have the original PowerLayer remote
 Press and hold ⚙ + FLAT together for 5 seconds.

B) If you don’t have the PowerLayer remote

1. Remove the mattress to access the frame.
   

2. Fold the head side of the PowerLayer to expose the underside.
   

3. Locate the black control box (solid green LED).
   

4. Press and hold the green pairing button until the LED flashes green.

When pairing succeeds, the BedJet 3 remote will confirm the connection.

3) Complete the firmware update (if prompted)

After pairing, the LCD Remote may ask to update its firmware. Let it complete—this only takes a moment.

• If you’re re-pairing your existing remote or pairing a BedJet-provided replacement, the update step may be skipped and the remote will connect automatically.
  
  

4) Reconnect your BedJet 3 devices

Plug your BedJet 3 unit(s) back in.

• Split King: If you have two Twin XL PowerLayers, repeat Step 2 to pair the second frame.

5) Switch between devices

From the remote’s main screen, press the left/right arrow keys to switch control between your BedJet and PowerLayer.
