Lowering the PowerLayer During a Power Outage (Battery Backup Cable)Updated 2 months ago

In the event of a prolonged power outage, you can still lower your PowerLayer Adjustable Bed Frame to the flat position using backup battery power. This method uses 9V batteries and the Battery Backup Cable to provide just enough power to bring your frame safely down.

How to Lower the PowerLayer with Backup Power

  1. Connect three (3) 9V batteries (not included) to the Battery Backup Cable.

  2. Attach the Battery Backup Cable to the PowerLayer power cable.

  3. To lower the frame, press the DOWN (▼) or FLAT button once per second continuously until the PowerLayer is fully flat.

⚠️ Warning: Backup power batteries do not provide enough power to lift the frame. This feature should only be used to lower the bed in an emergency.
