Error light on (how to read flashes & where to find codes)Updated 2 months ago

Seeing a red flashing error light and no operation? That means your BedJet 3 has detected a fault. Use the steps below to identify the exact error code and jump to the right fix.

Find your error code

If you use the app only (no physical remote)

  1. Look at the BedJet base unit’s red error light.

  2. Count the number of flashes between brief pauses — that number is your error code.

  3. Match the count to the list of codes below.

If you have the physical Smart Remote

  1. Press Menu on the remote.

  2. Go to BedJet Setup → Advanced → Diagnostics.

  3. The Diagnostics screen shows any current/latched errors.

  4. Note the error shown and see the code list below.

Tip: if counting flashes is tricky, record a short video and count the pulses on replay.

Error codes (what the flashes mean)

  • 1 flash — Error 1: Invalid ADC Data

  • 2 flashes — Error 2: Thermal Tracking Error

  • 3 flashes — Error 3: Extended Thermal Trip

  • 4 flashes — Error 4: Extended Thermal Trip

  • 5 flashes — Error 5: Motor RPM Error

  • 6 flashes — Error 6: Heater Stuck On

  • 7 flashes — Error 7: Thermal Trip

What to do next

  1. Identify your code from the list above.

  2. Open the matching troubleshooting article for step-by-step fixes:

  3. After completing the steps, you can power-cycle the unit to clear the error indicator:

    • Turn the BedJet off, unplug for 60 seconds, plug back in, then test.
